Basic Home Obedience Course

Teaching your dog basic behaviours and good manners early on in life is so important.  Dogs that are well trained and know what is expected of them are much happier dogs overall.  This course is also aimed at those very frustrated owners of ‘impossible’ teenage dogs. The teenage years starts at around 5-6 months and could go up to 2 years. You will learn how to handle your adolescent (teenage) dogs and get to understand them better.

What you will do in this course?

> Learn very basic clicker skills for obedience.
> Calming and Focus amongst distractions.
> Walking on Heel.
> Stay with loads of distractions
> Good manners, like:  Walking calmly through a door, walking past other dogs & waiting politely.
> A few tricks...just for fun!

Duration and costs of course

 This is a 6 week course @ R450 for the course. For 2 dogs in the same family is R600 for the course (R300 per dog).
Classes are on Saturday mornings and each lesson is about 45mins long. 

Type and age of dog

All breeds & mixed breed dogs are welcome. This course is for dogs 6 months and older. 
We regret no aggressive or reactive dogs in this training class. 
Your dog's vaccinations, tick & flea treatment and deworming must be up to date. (Although not compulsory, we do advise that your dog has the Kennel Cough vaccination as well.)
