Puppy Training 2 Course

This course aims to start teaching some basic behaviours, On-lead socialization with other pups of the same age and introduce your puppy to as many novel things as possible. This will allow your puppy to be more confident going forward to create a well balanced adult dog.

What you will do in this course?

> On lead socialization with other pups of the same age.  
> Continuing to learn dog language and help to eliminate future on leash aggression. 
> Teach your pup how to be calm and settled amongst distractions and other dogs.  
> We focus a lot on focus in this course.
> Introduce clicker training 
> Teach the pups:  Loose Leash Walking, Sit, Down, Stay, Leave it, Watch Me and Recall.
> We put the pups through a changing Obstacle course to teach them how to deal with novel objects.  This will grow your pups confidence and make them brave and confident dogs. 

Duration and costs of course

This is a 6 week course @ R450 for the course.  For 2 dogs in the same family is R600 for the course  (R300 per dog).
Classes are on Saturday mornings and each lesson is about 45mins long. 

Type and age of dog

Any dog breed or mixed breed puppy is welcome to attend. 
Only puppies between the ages of 3-6 months in this class.  
Your puppy’s vaccinations, tick & flea treatment and deworming must be up to date.
